This came about last year when I mentioned I was giving up knitting for Lent - I know, terrible idea, but with a new baby I couldn’t fast so I had to do something - well, Fr asked if I could knit him an afghan. I looked incredulous - I haven’t knit anything bigger than a baby jumper - but he suggested a scarf. I don’t know if he was joking, but I guess I’ll find out when I give him this. I’m trying to use all the interesting reversible patterns I can find. To finish I incorporated the order’s logo, crossed keys, in moss, plain and purl. It’s a subtle pattern.
